Scandinavian based Architectural Company Tham & Videgård Arkitekter, take the idea of a Treehouse to the next level and beyond with the MirrorCube. Inspired by Jonas Selberg Augustsen film ”The Tree Lover”, their quest to create a design something that offered people a chance to experience nature amongst the tree-tops was born. The Mirrorcube is the flagship creation of Treehotel, a series of outdoor housing which combines sustainability, art and efficiency. From a good distance, the Mirrorcube would be pretty hard to locate as its outer walls are constructed from reflective spy glass coated with infrared film making it visible to animals and birds but invisible to human eyes. It can be mounted in existing trees or custom made anchoring systems. The interior is made completely from natural wood in a variety of shades with custom made furniture, textiles and lighting.
